Whether a customer is off on holiday or a seasoned traveller our Travel Insurance is wide-ranging enough to cater for different types of trips, with the option to purchase either annual multi-trip or single-trip policies. The standard policy covers cancellation up to £6,000 per person, lost luggage with ‘new for old’ replacement, passports and money plus emergency medical expenses up to £10 million in the event that a customer is injured or taken ill whilst away. We offer 24-hour Emergency Assistance so we’ll always be on the end of the phone, 24-hours a day, if our customer’s need us. We have a worldwide network of English-speaking agents, covering over 200 countries, who can assist with anything from a lost passport to a medical emergency. We’re also in the position to provide cover for many existing medical conditions, which in most cases can be done online, provided the customer makes us aware of them before they travel.
John Lewis Travel Insurance offers optional Independent Traveller Insurance which covers flights, accommodation and other elements booked separately, rather than as part of a package. It includes disruption caused by a volcano, which many policies don’t cover. Additionally we can provide cover for golfing holidays, weddings and business travel and a wide-range of ‘hazardous activities’ including horse riding, deep sea fishing, jet skiing, snorkelling, wind surfing and water skiing.
